ABOUT THE EVENT
Last March 5, 2026, Liveable Cities Philippines held its first Liveable Cities Lab of the year, “Bridging the Gap: Where Public Vision Meets Private Sector Solutions,” under the theme Sustain+Ability: Cities That Work Together. The Lab brought together leaders from government, business, and civil society to explore how collaboration can help build more competitive, sustainable, and liveable cities. Insights were shared by distinguished speakers including Hon. Mayor Francis Zamora of San Juan City, Atty. Alberto Agra, Dr. Beverly Lorraine Ho of AC Health, Atty. John Dominic Z. Zafe of the Public-Private Partnership Center of the Philippines, Atty. Karina Agudo, GPPB-Recognized Trainer and Director IV of the Department of Social Welfare and Development, Mariel Que of Globe Telecom, Ma. Veronica C. Hitosis of the League of Cities of the Philippines, and Guillermo M. Luz, Chairman of Liveable Cities Philippines.
Throughout the discussion, one message stood out: public–private collaboration was a necessary and accelerated path toward building liveable, resilient, and inclusive cities. It demonstrated that when public vision and private sector solutions connect, the future of our communities can be built together.
