Arts, Culture & Heritage : WHY MUSEUM MATTER, August 14, 2024

ABOUT THE EVENT

Acknowledging the vital role of museums in the formation of an intelligent and liveable city's blueprint, our fourth regular lab held last August 14, 2024 was a session that gave credence to museums as cultural institutions that fortify the roots of Filipino identity and provide pathways for technological incorporation in more resilient and future-ready cities. The Liveable Cities Lab on Why Museums Matter advanced the discourse in advancing the field of arts and culture with substantial presentations from Ayala Museum's Mariles Gustilo, National Museum of the Philippines' Jeremy Barnes, and Valenzuela City Mayor Wes Gatchalian, featuring their remarkable advocacies and initiatives in the field.
