ABOUT THE EVENT
On September 24, 2025, Liveable Cities Philippines held its 5th Liveable Cities Lab, titled “Rethinking Flood Resilience through Sustainable Urban Planning,” at the Asian Institute of Management.
The event brought together experts and leaders from government, the private sector, civil society, the academe, and various professional sectors to explore and discuss sustainable, resilient, and nature-based solutions to the flooding challenges in the Philippines.
The Lab was opened by Liveable Cities Philippines Chairman, Mr. Guillermo M. Luz, and moderated by Project Director Yenny Gonzales. This was followed by a panel discussion featuring Ar. Nathaniel von Einsiedel, ENP (CONCEP INC.), Mr. Paulo Alcazaren, Mr. Jonathan Abalos (Geodata), and Mr. John Gabriel Abarquez (Inquiro), who shared their insights and expertise on addressing the country’s flooding issues.
