Green Buildings and Open Spaces, August 25, 2021
ABOUT THE EVENT
Rapid urbanization creates huge challenges in a city such as congestion, waste management, and pollution. This is why building green and open spaces are important. It reduces our negative impact on the environment, reduces operating costs with lessened use of water, energy, and materials, and improves indoor air quality. In our Lab on Green Buildings and Open Spaces, environmental planners, urban experts, and architects shared their initiatives and strategies in building green and open spaces and how it transforms cities, addresses one’s environmental footprint, and adjusts modern life for a more sustainable and liveable future.
