On October 1, 2025, Liveable Cities Philippines held its 6th Lab of the year, titled “EVolution in Motion: Accelerating Clean Transport in the Philippines.” As the third installment in the electric vehicle (EV) series, the Lab highlighted the country’s growing momentum in EV adoption—expanding beyond private use into logistics, public transportation, and integration with local government services. The discussion focused on moving from planning to execution by scaling infrastructure, strengthening policies, and integrating renewable energy toward a cleaner and more sustainable transport future.

The Lab was opened by Liveable Cities Philippines Chairman, Mr. Guillermo M. Luz, and moderated by Project Director Yenny Gonzales. Featured speakers included Atty. Felix William “Wimpy” Fuentebella, Undersecretary of the Department of Energy; Carla Buencamino, Group Head for Mobility Infrastructure at ACMobility; Kyle Tiñga, Sustainable Transport Specialist at Global Electric Transport (GET); Feliciano “Bong” Marcelo, Jr., Vice President for Operations and Sales at Mober Technology Pte., Inc.; and Hon. Raisa Treñas, Mayor of Iloilo City.
