The pandemic has accelerated digital adoption among Filipinos. Out of necessity, more people and organizations have shifted to digital transactions such as telehealth, e-payments, e-commerce, and other digital-enabled activities. During these trying times, digital technology has become a lifeline in keeping our society functional in a time of lockdowns and quarantines. Our Lab on Empowering Communities through Technology gathered tech experts and city mayors to present their initiatives, strategies, and lessons learned in integrating technology in their businesses and localities to adapt to the new normal.
