On August 20, 2025, Liveable Cities Philippines held its fourth lab of the year, Liveable Cities Lab: Transforming the Waste Crisis into Opportunity, at the Asian Institute of Management, bringing together leaders from government, the private sector, civil society, and academe to explore innovative waste management solutions. Opened by Chairman Guillermo M. Luz and moderated by Project Director Yenny Gonzales, the session featured insights from Dr. Al Oga Orolfo of DENR, Engr. Neil Dominic Careo of Legazpi City, Atty. Marc Anthony Cox of Coca-Cola Europacific Aboitiz, and Vice Mayor Chi Atienza of Manila. The event highlighted cross-sector collaboration as key to turning the waste crisis into sustainable opportunities, thanks to the support of partners including the League of Cities of the Philippines, Globe Business, Coca-Cola Philippines, and Asian Institute of Management.
